To pattys family, and freinds. I wanted to share with you some uplifting memories I have of Patty. We have had some amazing times together. Whether it was jaywalking while at a head start conference last fall or signing her up for parent education classes and forgeting to tell her about it till the week before. I could always count on Patty to make me smile. She would always tell me that I was stronger then any issues I was having. We was always doing something together weather it was going to parent group serving on head start boards or going to Wal-Mart there wasn't a week where we didn't spend at least one day together. And even tho I despise glitter I couldn't stop my glitter bug bestie to stop wearing it. She sure loved her glitter! The most amazing part of having a friend like Patty is she didn't judge. Most people who knows me knows I'm the crazy lady that has 6 kids well Patty always said she didn't know how I do it because I have twice as many and I  could always run circles around her. Truth is I looked up to Patty in many ways. She didn't really care about what others thought she was just always going to be and do Patty. She was a strong advocate for her kids husband and family. She was helping me get a stronger voice for my family. Something she said that I'm going to try and live my life after is this your story matters your voice is heard and your voice is strong. Serving on policy council definitely won't be the same without Patty. But I will continue to serve so I can bring to pass all that Patty had envisioned. I will always remember hanging out with her at her house and how crazy it was with all 9 kids but how fun it was to be able to watch the kids play and interact together I am so glad my kids have besties like kravin blazen and taelynn my kids are blessed to have these three kids as besties. I hope we can still have play dates like that in the future. I love you guys and it still doesn't seem real! Patty was and always will be a one in a million friend. Cuz she was a true friend. True friends don't care if your always broke, what you look like what kind of car you drive, what your house looks like, or whether your family is full of crazy nut jobs. Patty always looked to find what was on the inside and never cared what the outside was. She was genuine and good. God must have needed Patty for something special for him to take her from us on such short notice. Just remember God only puts us thru what he knows we can handle so when we have tough times it just means God needs us to be stronger. Hang in there life won't be the same but with the support of all of us here we can make it as best as possible!

Patty...you will be forever in my heart. A very special young woman who I grew to love very quickly. I wish you stars and glitter and Gods love to surround from now until the end of time. I will always remember your telling me "love you" when I would leave your presence. I love you too, baby...

We become friends is Mrs. Wilder’s 6th Grade class. You were then and still are beautiful. I remember you walking in on picture day and you looked like you had just stepped out of a magazine. We would spend hours dressing up and walking along the ditch behind your house by the freeway. Your little brother use to follow us around. I am so sorry you are gone. I am so sorry for your family and my heart breaks for your children and husband. I send peace and love to all those you have left behind.

Sweet friend, I'm at a complete loss for words when I think about never talking with you again. You have been there for me from the beginning of my time in this town, a constant ray of light and a true joy to know. You were there during one of the most significant times in my life---the birth of my youngest, and we were over joyed as you gave birth to your 3 beautiful children. You will always remain a gift in my eyes. I will love you always. Until I see you again....
