Max was a good man who influenced me in many ways. My first meetings with Max came through my father. Max would come to our house in the late 60’s with the coolest stuff. I remember his “Big Bear” Yamaha and then his Husqvarna dirt bikes. Riding with my father and Max was always fun. He would also bring his trumpet over and play Tijuana Brass songs with my dad and me. He also had a 54 Chevy Sedan Delivery that was outfitted with mag wheels and added teeth to the grille for that mild custom look. My interest in cars was due to his influence. He was a true friend to me and my whole family. A great man who will be missed by all

When I was a young boy, Max was my idol. He used to lift weights by using big pieces of railroad track. He was everything I wanted to be, big and strong. RIP Max. You made a difference.
