Mary D (Trevino) Banuelos

Mary D. Trevino Bañuelos of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on December 18, 1946 in Sunnyside, Washington to parents Vicente Trevino Jr and Dora Tovar Trevino. She died on July 22, 2017 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 70 years. Mary was raised in the Yakima Valley and married Liño Bañuelos in 1974 in Wapato, Washington. They moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 1982 and Mary went to work for JR Simplot as a wet line operator. The family later moved to Stanfield, Oregon and have lived in the area since. Mary worked at JR Simplot until 1993. She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church. Mary was a hard worker and cherished spending time with her family, baking, cooking and taking trips to see her family. 

She is survived by her children: Ted Longoria (Virginia), Todd Anthony Gallegos, and Maria D. Bañuelos, all of Hermiston, OR; sisters: San Juana Bañuelos, Stanfield, OR, Cruz Cavazos, Grandview, WA, Maria “Coyo” Gonzalez, Wapato, WA; brothers: Bernardo Trevino, Yakima, WA, Francisco Trevino, Coachella, CA, and Vicente Trevino III, Hermiston, OR; grandchildren: Anthony, Annabelle, Kasondra & Sheila; great grandchildren: Broxson, Emmilyse, Mason & Remington; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband siblings: Roberto Trevino, Raul Trevino, Delia Trevino, and Guadalupe Tovar. 

Recitation of the rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
