Linda C (Senn) McRae

Linda C. McRae of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on May 10, 1949 in Pendleton, Oregon to parents, Hubert and Mary LaRue Clark Senn. She passed away on September 16, 2017 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 68 years. Linda was raised in Irrigon, Oregon and graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman, Oregon in 1967. She attended Blue Mountain Community College taking business class for two years. Linda was united in marriage to James Robert “Bob” McRae on September 7, 1968 in Irrigon, Oregon. They lived in Corvallis, OR, Concrete, WA, Superior, MT, and again in Corvallis, OR before settling in Eureka, California for 30 years. She was a graphic designer at Humboldt State University in Native American Studies for many years. They moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 2007 where they have lived since. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bowling, her dogs and traveling. Linda was a loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend who thrived on taking care of everyone.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Bob McRae, Hermiston, OR; daughter: Kristina McRae, Connell, WA; brothers: Cloyd (Paula) Senn, Elkton, MD, Dallas Senn, Hermiston, OR; sisters: Gloria (Bill) Miller, Terri Linnell, and Stacy (Steve) Meyer, all of Hermiston, OR; In-laws: Helen and Harry Noble, and Carole Steagall; grandchildren: Alyssa, Dalton and Jayden; numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Mary LaRue Clark Senn.   

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
