Linda E (Olney) Abbott

Linda E. Abbott was born on December 24, 1959 in Portland, Oregon. She died on June 29, 2015 at her home in Stanfield, Oregon at the age of 55 years. When she was six days old she was adopted by Tom and Lillian Olney and brought to Stanfield, Oregon to meet her older sister, Nancy. Linda was a happy cheerful child and a joy to her parents and all who knew her. She was raised and attended school in Stanfield, Oregon, graduating from Stanfield High School. Linda married John Findley on October 15, 1979 and they had two children, Michael and Connie. They later divorced. Linda married Kord Abbott and they had three daughters, Veronica, Donna, & Jessica. They later divorced. Linda returned to Stanfield, Oregon 3 years ago to help care for her mother where she has lived since.

She is survived by her mother: L. Lillian Olney, sister: Nancy Collyer, son: Michael Findley; daughters: Veronica Abbott, Donna Abbott, & Jessica Abbott; and 10 grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her father: Tom Olney, and her daughter: Connie Findley

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Stanfield, Oregon.
