Lallah Lee Dale of Hermiston former longtime Graham, Washington resident, was born on February 18, 1917 in Granbury, Texas to parents, Arthur and Ola Sue Peters Drake. She died on August 20, 2015 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 98 years. She was raised in Ancho, New Mexico. Lallah was united in marriage to Fred S. Dale on April 20, 1935. They lived in Graham, Washington where she worked as a realtor for several years. Fred preceded her in death in 1997 and later she moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 2007 to be near family. Lallah was an avid gardener who enjoyed sewing, oil painting, crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She was an excellent cook and outstanding baker of bread and her delicious pies. Her door was always open and everyone was welcome. Lallah always cherished having  kids around her at her home in Graham and after moving to Hermiston.

She is survived by her sons: Gleason R. Dale & wife Betty, Winnemucca, NV and Gary J. Dale & wife Wynette, Hermiston, OR; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Lallah was preceded in death by her husband; son: Glen Dale; sisters: Lucille, Oleeta, & Lavonna; and a brother: Joe.        

A graveside celebration of life service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sumner City Cemetery, Sumner, Washington.
