LaVon Arlene Thurman was born May 11, 1930 in Broadwater, Nebraska the daughter of John and Emma (Klopping) Shuler. She passed away in Hermiston on Sunday April 15, 2018 at the age of 87.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 20, 2018 at the New Hope Community Church (1350 S. Hwy 395 Hermiston, OR 97838). Burial will follow at Hermiston Cemetery.
