JUDITH ANN GARRETT

JUDITH ANN GARRETT, 66, of Hermiston passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017.

Judith was born October 29, 1950 in Salem, Oregon the daughter of Leo and Evelyn (Chowanec) Trahan. She lived in the Salem area during her childhood where she attended school. In the late 1980's, she moved to Pendleton where she lived and worked for many years. She has resided Hermiston area for several years. Judith worked as a word processing technician at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution throughout her career until retiring in 2011.

Judith married Vern Garrett in 1986 at Stayton, Oregon.

She enjoyed being a grandma, spending time with her husband and caring for her pets.

She is survived by her children; Kina Garrett, Denise Garrett and Robert DeeWayne Garrett; sister, Vivian Duhart; grandchildren, Kina Beth, Cleora, Brandon, Samantha, Dakota, Tiffany, Amber and Cody; great grandchildren, McKenna and Braleigh.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vern in 2012; a son, Vern James Garrett; a sister Betty Trahan and both of her parents.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday October 2, 2017 at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.  Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
