Jean A McCutchen

Jean Alberta McCutchen was born July 22, 1927 in Hollenberg, Kansas the daughter of Albert and Amy (Walburn) Pelser. She passed away near Hermiston on March 21, 2018 at the age of 90.

As a child, Jean lived near Walla Walla, WA attended school in Milton Freewater, graduating from Milton Freewater high school in the class of 1945. She moved to Chehalis, WA in the mid 1950's where she worked as a secretary for Darigold. She moved to Hermiston in the mid 1960's where she has resided since. She worked as a secretary for the City of Hermiston and Good Shepherd Hospital.

Jean enjoyed dancing, fishing, camping and spending time with her family and friends.

She married Wayne Edward McCutchen in 1968 in Hermiston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; and her parents.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Randy) Moulton, Janet (Rob) Merrill; son, Jim (Jean) Laufer; grandchildren, Jeff Gallon, Dhru Merrill and Nick Merrill; great grandchildren, MacKenna and Liam Gallon.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 19, 2018 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel.
