Gladys V Morgan

Gladys Morgan, longtime Irrigon-Hermiston, Oregon resident, was born on April 19, 1922 in Rulison, Colorado to parents, Thomas and Callie Kerby Martin. She died on March 19, 2017 in Walla Walla, Washington at the age of 94 years. Gladys was united in marriage to Wayne Morgan on June 26, 1942 in Rulison, Colorado. They lived in Watsonville, California where they operated a foster home for special needs children for many years. They moved to Irrigon, Oregon in 1988 and then to Hermiston, Oregon in 1999. Wayne passed away in September of 1999 and Gladys continued to live in Hermiston for several years before moving to Walla Walla, Washington. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Irrigon, Oregon. Gladys enjoyed collecting rocks, traveling and sewing.

She is survived by her sons: Roland Morgan, Clifford Morgan and Clyde Morgan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, he parents, and 8 siblings. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Irrigon Seventh Day Adventist Church, Irrigon, Oregon

Burial will follow at the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
