Gary Nickles Jr.

Norman “Gary” Nickles Jr. was born November 1, 1967 at Little Rock, Arkansas to parents, Norman Gary & Alta Christine “Chris” (Skinner) Nickles Sr.. He died Monday, May 11, 2015 at his home in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 47.
Gary was raised in Hermiston since 1981 and graduated from Hermiston Senior High School in 1986. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1986 until his honorable discharge in 1990. On June 14, 1997 he married Christine Louise Homan at Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. He worked as a Refrigeration Mechanic for Con-Agra Foods for 20 years. Gary enjoyed computers, reading, golfing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 18 years, Christine of Hermiston; Son, Norman Nickles III of Hermiston; Daughter, Sarah Nickles of Hermiston; Sister, Shannon (Nick) Vannett of Hermiston; 2 Nephews, Shaun Vannett & Nicholaus Vannett II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norm & Chris Nickles.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
