Eldon L Enright

Eldon L. Enright was born on November 4, 1941 in Pendleton, Oregon to parents, Louis and Aletta Joines Enright. He died on May 8, 2016 at his home in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 74 years. Eldon was raised by his grandparents, Vestile and Cleo Joines and attended schools in Pendleton, Oregon. He graduated from high school and joined the United States Navy. Eldon served during Vietnam until his honorable discharge when he returned to Pendleton, Oregon. Eldon married Donna Brendibile and served as the fire chief in Metlakatla, Alaska  and they had, Sean and raised Donna Wisner, Sharon Nelson, Annette Boden, and Theresa Brendible, Roy Brendible, Christine Atkinson, and Bernadine Thurman. Eldon married Jill Hayward on February 14, 1984 in Ketchikan, Alaska and they had a son Chad and raised Kimberly Clark, Bob Clark, and Julian Russell. They moved to Arizona in 1990 and then to Hermiston, Oregon in 1995 where they have lived since. Eldon worked at Wal Mart and the Eagles Lodge in Hermiston, Oregon. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife: Jill Enright, Hermiston, OR; sons: Dwayne Enright, Maple Valley, WA, Sean Enright, Metlakatla, Alaska, & Chad Enright, Hermiston, OR; sister: Ninette Jackson & her husband Steve, Hermiston, OR; brother: David Enright, Weiser, ID; several grandchildren & great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Rhonda Whipple, brothers: Tom and Larry Enright and an infant brother.  

A celebration of life potluck gathering will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at McNary Park, Umatilla, Oregon.
