Oh! the memories. We had many. Proud to have called you friend. I can't imagine never hearing your voice again. There is an empty spot in all our lives. Miss you forever.

So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Most of us will never know what Ed endured in Viet Nam and then the Agent Orange that was encountered and later caused his diabetes. Then that led to later problems, including the amputation of both legs. Ed did not permit these hardships to keep him from living his life as he chose to live it. He continued to drive and to ride his bikes.
Unfortunately, the last time we cousins in Missouri saw Ed was at a reunion in Springfield about ten to twelve years ago and the 3 Grabeel boys (men) rode back from Oregon and Washington on their bikes. That was the first time I had seen them since 1968 when I visited them on an R&R from Nam. It is really unfortunate how families get separated as life happens to each us.
All of us send God's blessings to each of you at this time of loss. Please know that we all here to be of any help that we can possibly provide. I know this is an empty promise most times, but God knows this is sincere.
We would love to hear from any or all of you to talk.
Scollan I know this is especially hard for you. Children are not supposed to preceed their parents in death. I will never forget the time we spent together many years ago when you were like a father to me for 4 or 5 summers in the late '40s.
Wish there was more that I could do. Love you all.

I worked with Gritter several years on a railroad communications gang back in the 1970's. He was a unique kind of guy, but he was good to work with. I'd light a candle
for you Gritter, but you just weren't the candle type of guy. Hope they have a cycle
waiting for you where ever you went.

Glad we were able to call one another friends over the years, you will be sorely missed.
Love, Gary Gray
Eddie, lol where do I even start? All the years I knew you, you always brought out my ugly side.....your middle finger always seemed to be your best asset for me. No matter if I was in the car or in my home or yours that was the best you could do, you actually grew on me after awhile and your heart softened, I will miss you and glad to call you my friend, may you rest in peace , love, Judy
