Deanna "Dee" R. (Bellinger) Strawick
November 1, 1949 - August 21, 2015

Dee was born on November 1, 1949 in Pendleton, Oregon to her parents Edward "Duke" N. Bellinger and Delores "Dodie" J. (Olson) Bellinger. She passed away peacefully on August 21, 2015 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston, Oregon after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 65 years.

Dee worked for 16 years as Director of Human Resources at Banner Bank in Hermiston. She graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman, Oregon and attended Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, Oregon.  She was a member of the Emblem Club, past president of Altrusa, as well as a former president of the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by her husband Pete Strawick, Hermiston, Oregon; her daughter April (Derbyshire) Spangler and son-in-law Darin, Medical Lake, Washington; step-daughter Lisa Laskey and son-in-law Kim, Bellingham, Washington; step-daughter Kristi Mulrean, El Mirage, Arizona; sister Rhonda McBee, Westport, Washington; uncle and aunt Bob and Louanne Bellinger, Hermiston, Oregon; aunt Karen Key, Hermiston, Oregon; uncle and aunt Darrell and Linda Walker, Bend, Oregon; aunt Donna Ray and husband Mel, Umatilla, Oregon; aunt Wanda Schnell and husband Wayne, Irrigon, Oregon; cousin Gail Gosson and husband Jim, Parkdale, Oregon; cousin Pat Springsteen, Kennewick, Washington; her nine grandchildren Elysse, McKenna, Ryan, Gunner, Skylar, Grant, Gage, Shea and Addison.  She is also survived by many cousins and friends, especially Serena McPherson, Stanfield, Oregon, Teresa Moncrief, Hermiston, Oregon and Amanda Dumond, Pilot Rock, Oregon.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pete and Dee's home on November 1, 2015.

Private burial of cremains will be at the Hermiston Cemetery.
