Deborah Lynn Hayes

Deborah Lynn Hayes, 64 of Hermiston passed away with her family by her side on Saturday October 14, 2017.

Deborah was born March 13, 1953 in Haworth, Oklahoma the daughter of Walter and Sylvia (Young) Laney. As a child, her family moved to Sweet Home, Oregon where Deborah attended school and graduated from Sweet Home High School in the class of 1971. She married Dennis Hayes in Sweet Home, Oregon on October 9, 1976. The couple lived in Sweet Home for many years until moving to Hermiston in 1999.

Deborah loved the trees and mountains of western Oregon. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.    

She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Dennis of Hermiston; daughter, Kathleen Hayes of Hermiston; sisters, Brenda, Patricia and Peggy; brother, Troy; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon and Austin; great grandchildren, Andrea, JJ, Branson and Sophia.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday October 22, 2017 at Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, OR).
