Charles "Chuckie Cheeze" K Neumann

Charles K. “Chuckie Cheeze” Neumann of Irrigon, Oregon, was born on October 4, 1950 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to parents, Elmer and Virginia Eckerett Neumann. He passed away on January 5, 2018 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 67 years. Chuck was raised and attended schools in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He moved to Oregon in 1980 where he has lived since. Chuck was united in marriage to Linda Richards on July 18, 1998 in Irrigon, Oregon. He worked at Browns Truck Stop, Greg’s Tavern, Sherrell Chevrolet, Napa Auto Parts in Umatilla & Boardman and then at the Walmart Distribution Center until he retired in 2014. Chuck enjoyed stock car racing, playing cribbage and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He served on the Irrigon City Council and as the Mayor of Irrigon. Chuck was a member of the Hermiston Tavern Pool League for over 25 years.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Neumann, Irrigon, OR; daughter: Kaycee Donley (Scott), Richland, WA; grandson: Tillian ; 1/2 sister: Lila McKenzie, Mesa, AZ; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at AC Houghton Elementary School Gymnasium, Irrigon, Oregon.
