Brian E Verwey

Brian Edward Verwey, 56, of Hermiston passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. Brian was born November 10, 1959 in Grand Haven Michigan. His parents were Edwin and Carrie Jo (VanDififer) Verwey, and stepmother, Maryann Verwey. Brian attended and graduated from Spring Lake High School and went on to pursue a career in the oil fields and ultimately became a Fork Lift driver at Walmart Distribution Center for 16 years. Brian married Brenda (Cook) Verwey in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 28, 1980. They had 6 children, (5 boys and 1 girl). 

Brian is survived by his wife: Brenda; sons: Brain, Kevin, Thomas; daughter: Kimberly; sisters: Janiece, Vanessa, & Lori; brother: John and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins. 

Brian will be joined in heaven by his sons: Kenneth & Derick; parents: Edwin, Carrie Jo; brothers: Dennis & Craig; sisters: Chris & Sherri Lynn along with many other family members and friends. 

Brian, we will always carry your memory in our hearts. May you rest in peace our beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
