Betty L (Hollingshead) Wynne

Betty L. Wynne of Hermiston, Oregon was born on November 19, 1924 in Fowler, California to parents, William and Ivy Qualls Hollingshead. She died on September 14, 2016 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 91 years. She was raised and attended schools in California. Betty was united in marriage to Jace Cliff Wynne on August 10, 1952 in Fort Ord, California. They moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 1963 where she has lived since. Betty was a member of the Hermiston First Christian Church, the Hermiston Eagles Lodge, and a life member of the VFW Post #4750 Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and word search puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter: Sherry Schlink, Hermiston, OR; son: Ray Wynne, Hermiston, OR; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 1 niece, and 2 nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Jace Cliff Wynne, her son: Roy Anthony Wynne, her parents, and 3 brothers.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
