It is with loss I write in Betty's passing.  She was a GREAT lady, and what a find she was for Don.  She was a totally devoted wife and mother all of her life.  I attended church with her as a child, and she was always a favorite.  She had many friends and a very loving family.  As a young woman myself, she shared her love of needlework with me and taught me some Russian embroidery....  Many things she has left with us in our memories, and will not be forgotten, but will live forever in that.  She was a child of God, so I know she is at peace with him.  In that, I find hope to see her again someday.

Dearest Grandma Betty.  I was extremely fortunate to be touched by Betty at a very young age.  Even at my young age, there was no denying Betty was an incredibly special woman.  She had such a strong, yet always warm and loving personality.  When she talked, I listened.  And that laugh...I will forever be able to hear her big laugh.  One of my absolute favorites.  It was big, appreciative, and very distinct.  I honestly cannot recall a time being around her when she didn't laugh.  A true one of a kind, beautiful woman inside and out.  She will forever live in my heart and mind.  My most sincere sympathy and deepest condolences go out to the Brandt family near and far.  I love you all very, very much.  My heart and thoughts are with you.
