Barbara Ann (Hamilton) Clark

Barbara Ann Clark was born on April 19, 1935 in Decatur, Illinois to parents, Lawrence Dale and Mary Elizabeth Sutter Hamilton. She died on July 25, 2015 in Hermiston, Oregon and rejoined her husband of nearly 60 years, at the age of 80 years. Barbara was raised in North Carolina, Florida, and Illinois. Barbara was united in marriage to Louis L. Clark on June 10, 1955 in Decatur, IL. She worked in various office positions including, Executive Assistant to the Hospital Administrator at Sisters of St. Francis. They lived in Illinois until 1987 when they moved to Hermiston, Oregon to be near their family. Barbara was the office manager for her son-in-law, Thomas Farney at his surgery practice until retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Women of the Moose, Elks Emblem Club, had served as President of the PTA in Illinois, and worked alongside and supported her husband Louis in his many Shrine activities. Barbara enjoyed playing pinochle, cooking, knitting, traveling, and entertaining family & friends.   

She is survived by her daughters: Marianne Farney & husband Thomas, Hermiston, OR, and Diane Mueggler & husband Scott, Kennewick, WA; son: David Clark, Hermiston, OR; 4 grandchildren: Daniel (Scarlet), Annamarie (Lewis), Barbi (Devin), & Caitlin (Beth); brother: James D. Hamilton, Decatur, IL; sisters: Linda Krska & Bonnie Seger, both of Sun City, FL.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. Clark on March 17, 2015, and by her parents.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
